Our past is our future... [attn: Owen]

Owen looked down at the noodles, picking up his chopsticks again. "Sounds like a plan to me," he said with a smirk as he picked some noodles up.

Lynne let out a sigh when the bowl was empty. Now she'd probably have to walk past Shannon lounging on the couch. She hadn't heard the television turn off again, so logically, Shannon would still be in the living room, sprawled out in her typical guy-snatching position with her nightie pulled down at the top and hiked up at the bottom. Great. Just what Lynne needed was for Shannon to be the last sexy thing Owen saw before having sex with her...

"Ready for bed?" she asked as she took the bowl over to the sink to wash it.

Owen heard Lynne sigh when they had finished eating. "The telly's still on..." he observed aloud. The sigh was probably about her roommate. He felt badly that he was causing problems between them... Wait. He wasn't causing the problem... This was Lynne's flat, too, she should be able to have her own boyfriend over without being afraid of Shannon trying to steal him. The thought of this made him angry for a moment before a different thought forced itself into his mind that made a mischievous little grin replace the vague stare he'd been wearing before.

"Ready for bed?"

Owen snapped back into reality and watched as Lynne washed their bowl. He stood up and walked behind her, pushing her hair to one side of her neck as he kissed the other. "Ready when you are," he whispered.

Lynne had caught the grin on Owen's face just as she'd gotten up and she had to wonder what that was for.

He came up behind her and pushed her hair to one side of her neck before kissing the other side, making Lynne smile slightly.

"What was that look for?" she whispered back. "I totally saw that..."

Owen squeezed Lynne slightly, pressing his head against hers gently. "Oh, I just thought of another way to make your roommate squirm, if you're up for it."

Lynne turned her head just slightly and smirked. "I'm listening..." she replied quietly.

Owen grinned, "Well, if we're going to make sure she hears our amazing loud sex... Why not start here and make our way to your room... Drive the message home just a bit." He turned Lynne around and put his hands on her hips, holding her close. He cocked an eyebrow and grinned before kissing her lightly, hoping she'd agree.

Lynne laughed. "You're horrible; I love it," she said before crushing her mouth against his, kissing him deeply, hands already cupping his neck and fisting his hair. For a moment, she considered jumping into his arms and wrapping her legs around his waist, but if he wasn't ready for it, that could end up being embarrassing.

Owen pulled Lynne away from the sink as they kissed and guided her out of the kitchen. He pressed her against the hallway wall and held her leg up around his waist as he kissed down her jaw and neck. He was a bit too preoccupied to see if his plan was working.

When Owen pushed her up against the wall and lifted her leg up around his waist, Lynne took the opportunity to hop up and lift her other leg, closing her thighs against Owen's hips, crossing her ankles behind his back, and letting her head fall back against the wall. She hummed approval at the feel of his lips on her neck and looked up again, across the hall and into the living room where Shannon was sitting on the couch glaring. Lynne smiled smugly and gave her roommate the finger over Owen's shoulder.

"Bedroom..." she breathed in Owen's ear.

Owen put his arms around Lynne as he pushed off from the wall, carrying her down the hall and into her room. He kicked the door closed behind him, making sure that it wasn't entirely closed as he put Lynne down. He removed his shirt and kissed her, tugging on her shirt as he pushed her gently towards her bed.

"You're amazing," Lynne breathed in a half-laugh as she reached down and pulled her own shirt off hastily, tossing it away unceremoniously.

It then occurred to Lynne as she turned them in a semi-circle and pushed Owen onto the bed, climbing up after him and straddling him, that she'd always been reserved about noise made in the bedroom. It was part of the reason she was so annoyed about having to hear Shannon all the time.

She leaned down and kissed Owen's jaw before whispering in his ear, "I've...never been loud. I don't know if I can," and then pulling away to give him a sheepish, embarrassed half-smile.

Owen smiled at Lynne after her confession, "Me neither," he whispered back, lacing his fingers through her hair and pulling her in for a kiss before dropping his hands down to the waist of her pants, undoing them before slipping them off, kissing her neck and jaw as he did so.
