Sometime in Martha's early days in medical school her father had a affair with Annalise (a blonde tart). She met the Doctor after the hospital she had been training out ended up on the moon. The Doctor promised her one ride the night of her brother's 21st birthday. After the happenings with Professor Lazarus, the Doctor inviited her for endless trips.
She spent a year walking the world alone after The Master returned and sent the Tocoflane upon the Earth. On her travels, she meets a man who follows her own passion, a E.R doctor by the name of Tom Milligan. She spent a year telling the remaining slaves of Earth about the Doctor so the Master could be defeated.
After the Master was defeated, she choose to stay with her family instead of travel further with the Doctor. She gave him her superphone so she could contact him if she ever needed him. Shortly after returning home, the Doctor put a word for Martha at U.N.I.T. Martha called the Doctor back to Earth when people started mysteriously being killed. Turns out the Sonatrans were behind it.
After the Sontarans were defeated, the TARDIS was hijacked upon Martha's leaving. A paradox was made with their arrival; creating the Doctor's Daughter. After Jenny's "death", she returned to Earth, to Tom.

These were the times when she missed travelling with the Doctor. When she was up to her elbows in endless medical paperwork. It was quiet around her exam room as she looked over the forms in front of her. The whole base seemed quiet, which was strange. The base was never this quiet, even when there was no alien threat on the back of their heels. Most of her co-workers had paperwork to do after the Sontarans. A lot of people had lost their lives in that battle. Of course it’d be a bit silent around the base, but they should have been recruiting new soldiers. Some noise should be heard, rather it be the pounding of feet against the stone floors or the laughter of woman and men while they talked.
Martha leaned back against her desk chair and strained her hearing towards her slightly opened door. Her exam room and lab was in the middle of the base in London Tower, their should have been even the little of sounds. She slowly stood to her feet, her black heeled boots clicking across the floor while she made her way to her ajar door.
Peaking out the door, she looked back and forth down the hallway. Not a soul was in the hallway. She shivered thought she knew she wasn’t cold. “Is there anyone there?” she yelled against the eerily stillness, her voice echoing off the walls.
