History: Jenny was quite literally born to adventure. 'Born' from the Doctor's stolen cells, advanced to maturity in a progenation machine, and current 'history' and military skills downloaded into her head, very nearly the first thing she did in her life was fight and blow stuff up. After that, she argued with her father and Donna, his companion, unable to comprehend why they didn't understand...well, anything. But without them, she wouldn't even have a name. Donna, discovering she didn't have one, decided to give her a name, a pastiche of what the Doctor called her - 'Generated Anomaly'. Jenny.
Of course, being with the Doctor tends to get one in trouble quite quickly - in this instance, being locked up with pacifists for the 'crime' of being engendered from one. More arguing and discussion occurred, the end results being that the Doctor began to accept a certain responsibility for Jenny, and Jenny began to want to be a bit more like him. After all, he was brilliant and so very, very determined as well. Escape was easy, kissing boys(and stealing their guns) is fun, and they took off in hopes to reach the Source before the Hath or General Cobb could. During the race, and through much effort of the Doctor, Jenny learned that choices aren't restricted by what one began as, and started to want to make the Doctor proud of her.
Unfortunately they were separated all too soon, and the promise of traveling with her father was broken by a bullet she intercepted to save his life. His final words to her - "You're going to be more than great; you're going to be amazing," became almost a personal mantra once she revived, and since he wasn't there to take her places she was just going to have to do it herself. She did have ever so much to live up to, and couldn't be amazing on just one planet. She stole a shuttle from the original colony ship and took off for new worlds, new adventures and an awful lot of running.

Jenny grinned as she skidded around a corner, never slowing down even as she almost slammed into a wall. "Love the running," she said to no one, and patted a pocket to make sure that the detonator was still there. A distant roar from behind spurred her to greater speed and she pelted down the hall, flinging herself around one last corner to burst through the door she'd come in by hours ago. A crowd was milling about at the other end of the long courtyard, the evacuated occupants of the building behind her herded by assorted authority and rescue figures, but she ignored them in favor of ducking behind a squarish sculpture, hauling out the detonator to smack the blinking red button.
A series of explosions shook everything around, the constant noise drowning out the screams of the crowd as the building slowly collapsed, crushing everything that remained within. Dead bodies, monsters, all become one under the demolished mass. As the last rumbling faded away, Jenny leaned back against the sculpture and slid down it, trying to catch her breath. Running was fun, but what she had seen when she went in to deal with the latest monsters...well, that would give her nightmares for certain. Needing to get the rest of it over with, she heaved a sigh as she pushed herself back to her feet; the survivors of that nightmare would be wanting to thank her for ending it, and that was all well and good, but what she really wanted right now was her dad. But since he wasn't going to show up, she just wanted to leave as soon as she could, needing the clean darkness of space to wash away the horrors that people were capable of creating.
